About the role
We are looking for a
Senior Advisor Remuneration
to collaborate with leaders and the People Community to drive competitive remuneration solutions within a dynamic global business. You'll enjoy cross-functional collaboration and the chance to contribute to Rio Tinto's long-term success through innovative and sustainable remuneration practices.

Reporting to the APAC Remuneration Strategy & Solutions Manager, you will be:
Consulting with leaders and employees on the interpretation and application of remuneration policies and programs
Partnering with the People Community to facilitate the implementation and execution of remuneration policies and programs within the business
Supporting the development, maintenance and communications of key remuneration strategies, policies and processes
Ensuring the effective deployment of remuneration policies and practices including compliance with legislative and governance requirements
Providing training to the People Community and the business as necessary
Supporting global remuneration processes as required, including the Annual Remuneration Review, Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) and Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) programs
Working collaboratively within and across teams to develop pragmatic and sustainable remuneration-related solutions and tools for the business
Maintaining strong partnerships with vendors and service partners, including submission of salary surveys as required
What you'll bring
Experience working in a large multinational corporation with a focus on remuneration strategy and execution
Strong advisory skills, to provide consistent and timely advice on remuneration policies and resolving complex issues
Knowledge of legal, governance, and compliance requirements related to remuneration programs
Ability to collaborate with internal teams and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and service partners
Analytical skills to evaluate effectiveness of remuneration programs and provide data-driven recommendations
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills
Flexibility to accommodate global meetings across various time zones on an infrequent basis
