Job Description What is Turner & Townsend Real Estate Advisory?
Turner & Townsend's Real Estate Advisory team make the difference by transforming client performance through delivering impactful, inclusive, and sustainable solutions in the corporate occupier, commercial developer, education, health, life sciences, technology, and government sectors.
Our multi-disciplinary team combines management consulting, project management, data and digital, change management, net zero, project controls and project and program advisory services to transform how projects, programs and portfolios are delivered.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Real Estate Advisory Sydney team who has previous experience as a management consultant and is passionate about continuously helping clients improve how they delivery project and programs and in every aspect of their business.
This role would suit someone looking for their next step in their career development.
You may have been part of a larger project or consulting team in perhaps a 'big 4' consultancy and want the opportunity to take more ownership of a sector or proposition.
As a Senior Consultant , you will: Actively participate in project management, process re-engineering, organisational change, stakeholder management implementation and beyond.
Develop and present client-focused solutions for both projects and business development.
Support our NSW real estate advisory team, providing technical project delivery knowledge and contribute to our multi-disciplinary team.
Act as day-to-day management consultant, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
Produce clear, concise, and persuasive client-facing reports or deliverables in various formats that deliver to client expectations and demonstrate value.
Provide complementary services to Turner & Townsend's propositions such as project management, cost management, contract services and program management.
Have proven ability to lead complex organisational transformations, leveraging strategic vision, change management and stakeholder engagements to drive successful outcomes.
Be able to develop key client data into insights which can be used to drive enhanced performance and management.
Develop project/program/ portfolio management approaches used to improve delivery of capital assets and assure our clients investments are effectively and efficiently controlled.
Support the growth of advisory through bid writing and proposition development.
Desired Skills Program Management – Provide expert guidance and strategic advice to our clients on program set-up and drive development and implementation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Organisational Transformation: proven ability to develop target operating models and lead complex organisational transformations, leveraging strategic vision, change management and stakeholder engagements to drive successful outcomes.
Project Management – competence in organising, planning, and executing projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client objectives.
Analytical thinking – ability to dissect complex problems, identify key issues, and develop strategic solutions using data driven insights.
Communication – proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders, both orally and in writing, to facilitate effective decision making.
Problem Solving – attitude for tackling challenges creatively, employing innovative approaches to our clients' challenges.
Adaptability – capacity to thrive in dynamic environments, quickly adapting to changing circumstances and embracing various types of work for our clients.
Client relationship management – skills in fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored recommendations to meet their goals.
External Relationships - establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand and grow our advisory services.
Qualifications Qualifications A minimum of 4 - 6 years consulting and advisory experience.
A university degree in Program Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business or Economics Experience in delivering capital projects, programs and/or portfolios Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary consultancy team environment and individually Experience of working across real estate sectors or infrastructure or natural resources and both private and public sectors Previous experience working for a consultancy organisation Professional accreditation desirable i.e.
PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
