The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects.
We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities.
VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity: The Senior Adviser, Quality and Assurance is a key role within VHBA's Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for:
Defining, managing and owning VHBA's Project Management Framework (PMF) continuous improvement processes. Driving performance and capability uplift across VHBA's diverse asset base and project portfolio. Identifying and sharing common project success factors. Developing and managing libraries of best practices through effective project knowledge capture. Gathering, validating, prioritising and sharing feedback and lessons learned between project teams and internal stakeholders. Supporting project capability and performance uplift and PMF adoption and compliance at all stages of the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: Writing briefs on highly complex issues that provide options for discussion and consideration and will contribute to the development of a set of final options for decision. Keeping accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records. Applying business plans and policies in PMO and providing advice to others on implementation issues. We are looking for: Experience working within a PMO, Quality Assurance or similar centralised project management roles. Confidently conveys ideas and information in a clear and interesting way; clearly understands the target audience and the objectives of the communication.
