About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for a Senior Advisor- Project Systems  to support the Project Practices & Improvement (PPI) team. In this role you will support the development, implementation, operational support, and continuous improvement of Portfolio and Project governance and management systems to deliver practical and robust processes, tools and templates. Where required you will also support project or strategic programs of work to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor, Project Systems, and leveraging your previous experience working within large construction projects, you will: Lead operational support (Level 1 user assistance and training), ongoing development (change design, implementation, testing, and deployment), and system administration (i.e. user administration, configuration control) of core 'in house' configured applications such as our: Cost and Contract System (CCS) based on Primavera Unifier. Integrated Project Performance (IPP) based on Microsoft technology stack (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL) Lead administration and maintenance of other RioTinto Projects 'out of box' applications (such as Primavera P6, Contruent, CMS) including engagement with IS&T. Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of other Portfolio and Project governance and management systems to deliver practical and robust policy, processes, tools and templates. Support the PPI function to deliver strategic initiatives like Next Gen Systems, change management, training, and coaching. Where required, perform as an embedded role in project or strategic programs of work to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of projects. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Project Execution Teams, Project Services Teams and IST Teams) to drive a culture of collaboration, participation, and improvement. What you'll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Practical experience in project delivery within large construction projects. Advanced working knowledge of project services processes (ideally cost and/or contracts management). Hands on experience with systems and tools commonly used to support project delivery, particularly cost control and contract management. Experience in projects analytics and reporting systems. Experience in implementing improvements in project environment across multiple stakeholders. Practical experience in the development and delivery of Training and Capability Development. Qualification in STEM, Industry certifications or relevant experience in portfolio, program or project management. It will also be beneficial if you have:
Experience working with Agile project delivery processes and software development and/or testing. Systems administration and/or database integration and development experience (PL/SQL, MSSQL, SQL). Experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier and/or P6.
