Play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Western Renewables Link by implementing project plans and operational tasks, supporting project coordination, governance and risk management which will contribute to the smooth and efficient project execution.
Join our team as the Senior Advisor, Project Performance where you will focus on supporting internal and external governance activities, supporting project management tasks and helping to manage risk and resolve issues that are whole of project or cut across the responsibilities of multiple directorates.
You will be instrumental in ensuring that project objectives are met in line with the established plans.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in the CBD, Melbourne and is part of the Major Projects Development and Future Networks department, reporting into the Director, Project Performance. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Assist with the coordination of project governance activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Support the team in preparing project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and briefing papers. Help track project progress against timelines and identify emerging risks. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and support project deliverables. Assist in the preparation and distribution of project-related communications, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging. Draft memos, develop PowerPoint packs and other written communication materials to support Executive decision making and cross-organisation collaboration. Prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items in project meetings. Maintain project records and databases to ensure accurate documentation and easy retrieval of information. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for streamlining project workflows. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: A degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Policy or energy-related qualifications. Highly analytical with excellent written communication skills (memos, PowerPoint packs, etc). Experience in program or project management, or governance, or public policy, or major project or energy-industry role. Demonstrated experience in supporting the implementation and uplift in strategic, operational or cultural change outcomes. Extensive experience in collaboration and building productive relationships across an organisation. Relevant experience in large scale or complex organisations or programs. A real place to belong.
