Key responsibilities:Develop, review, and implement corporate systems (policies, procedures and processes) to achieve effective and efficient processes across the region.Implement governance processes to ensure best practice outcomes and relevant reporting requirements of the department.Provide timely and accurate advice on complex issues and processes.Develop and implement business improvement initiatives to streamline processes and procedures for customers.Assist in the implementation of relevant Legislation and Policy to ensure probity, accountability and outcomes are met.Manage work tasks within the team.Identify opportunities in the North Coast Region forward program of works to provide flexibility and responsiveness of the business.Establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.Provide advice and recommendations to senior management.Provide leadership to appropriate staff to achieve regional outcomes.Work with Managers, Team Leaders and Project Managers around tasks from start to finish, including document preparation, performance monitoring and changes/variations.Mandatory qualifications and conditions:Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
