Together, we'll help create a future for generations to come.Who are we looking for?We're looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Regulation & Assurance team with a focus on Power Systems Capability and Planning. We are growing our team to enable the delivery of a diverse range of projects across Australia and internationally.This is a great opportunity for a driven professional to work alongside the top talent in the power systems industry while building your career working on leading edge projects.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Technical delivery of power system planning and analysis and related regulation and access projects and other advisory engagements.Provide inputs for proposals and opportunity-related pursuits.Supports the development of tools and systems to efficiently deliver quality power system planning and analysis advice.Works with Technical Directors and Senior Advisors to shape service offerings and form relationships with potential clients.Contributes to projects across the broader advisory business as required.Working on projects focusing on:Steady state analysis, i.e. load flow and fault level studies.Dynamic analysis, i.e. frequency and voltage stability studies.Harmonic analysis including power quality and filter design studies.Grid code compliance reviews for generators, energy storage systems and loads.Wide area power systems studies.Protection co-ordination studies.Supports other advisory teams with infrastructure-related investment advice, advice on operating decisions, and the delivery of power systems projects and proposals.What you will bring to the team:Relevant degree in electrical engineering or power systems.Knowledge of fundamental power system analysis concepts.Curious through experimentation and experience and seeks ways to grow and be challenged by new and novel conditions.Software experience with PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, Simulink, Python, Matlab or Mudpak.A Client Centric approach with a key focus on prioritizing client needs, taking action to provide high-quality client experience.Knowledge of Australian grid codes is desirable.A passion to grow your career within a consultative environment.Interested?
