The Role: This position contributes to the successful positioning of the Quality and Patient Safety Service to provide leadership for high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare, both internally and externally, by supporting the clinical areas to operate effective clinical services in accordance with the National Safety and quality standards and the Department of Health Quality and Safety objectives:
Developing and delivering training programs and projects to improve service delivery and mitigate risks within the scope of the assigned quality and patient Safety portfolio.Leading and implementing in collaboration with colleagues an integrated patient safety and risk management program.Promoting and evaluating data to inform quality improvement across Hospitals South.Facilitating as necessary quality and patient safety investigations, development of relevant procedures and reports.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment: Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing from 17 February 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
