Reporting to the Superintendent Inventory Control, you will be responsible for providing inventory management services and solutions to ensure the optimal supply of material to the Roy Hill operations. The Senior Advisor Inventory Control is responsible for management and development of systems and processes in place to ensure catalogued items are maintained at optimal levels, item availability is sustained and available as per maintenance work order requirement in accordance with the Inventory Specification. Duties: Ensure team MRP vetting procedures are conducted and managed in relevant work areas Manage the work allocation and business priorities across the team to ensure service levels to maintenance are met Monitor material risk across work areas and resolve escalations Cultivate relationships with other inventory control areas, purchasing, warehouse and maintenance teams to harmonise business process Review work orders for Processing, Rail and Port maintenance events that include requirements for catalogued inventory, non-catalogued goods, repairable and service exchange materials Process and manage the team's accountability of inventory discrepancies and disposals in-line with financial procedure Manage and reconcile bulk and other individually managed commodities Monitor the return of unused stock and repairable materials to the warehouse Assist external repair team with writing off stock that is beyond economical repair Monitor stock transfers in SAP to ensure documents have correct quantities and dates a Ensure suppliers maintain schedules in accordance with contractual purchase order delivery dates Identify and implement improvements to the Inventory Specification Skills and Experience: Ability to lead a team of people and motivate through to outcomes Experience in SAP Inventory Management and Materials Management modules Relevant Tertiary qualification or similar in commercial, supply chain or logistics A demonstrated combination of training and vendor engagement, warehouse or inventory management experience Experience in inventory optimisation systems Perth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC) Modern spacious office with break-out facilities In-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee Flexi Leave available to all Perth based office staff Flexible working hours outside of core business hours Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
