You could be one of our 2900 committed team members who are up to the challenge. About the role You will be an integral part of the Corporate Affairs Group, leading the development and delivery of communication strategies.
You will have the exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to create and implement communications that engage and support the team on key activities, events, and projects.
Key Accountabilities include: Lead and implement internal communications and engagement plans, ensuring alignment with V/Line's overall strategy.Provide strategic support for team communications, change initiatives, and activities across multiple channels, including preparing speaking notes for senior leaders.Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders to create effective and engaging communications.Collaborate with the broader Corporate Affairs team to ensure content alignment and coordination.Devise communication strategies that have clear measurable objectives based on organisation priorities.Write, edit, and produce clear, targeted communications materials, managing their distribution, in a timely manner, including Group newsletters.Create and produce communications that inform and inspire, including human interest stories.About you You are an experienced communications advisor, with a proven ability to develop and deliver internal communication strategies.
You thrive on providing strategic insights and love rolling up your sleeves to create engaging content.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following: Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds.Strong organisational skills, including the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Adept at using technology, including the ability to quickly learn and be proficient in various content management systems/platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite and Mailchimp.Ability to develop and implement communications plans.Experience working in a complex, politically sensitive, and demanding government/industry environment.Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related discipline (Desirable).Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.In addition to free myki travel, we offer:
