The Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group (QGCDG) is focused on growing a thriving digital economy in Queensland, and enabling more responsive, simple, and effective services for all Queenslanders. As a Senior Advisor working within the Strategic Delivery team, you will be assigned to the program of work of replacing critical communication infrastructure for emergency services. The Government Wireless Network has been a groundbreaking success for Whole of Government solution business critical systems, supporting the Public Safety Agencies that service the public in times of emergency and disaster. The time has come to consider the strategic future of critical communications in Queensland, and a seasoned Senior Advisor is sought to help lead this exciting phase.
As a senior team member, you will be key to ensuring an innovative and future-resilient option is selected for the future of this critical public safety service. This phase of the project requires that solution options are analysed by the technical, financial and project implementation specialists, and a robust and accurate business case developed to inform government decisions for the next phase.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly collaborative Senior Advisor able to work with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders, develop accurate and timely work, and support senior executives and governance forums with sound reporting and project controls management.
You will have the skillset to assist the Program Director in Stakeholder Engagement and Communications, Assurance activities, and Government reporting including the preparation of briefing materials.
To achieve this, you will:
Provide management of the governance and reporting framework for the QCCM Project.
Drive co-design of strategy and policy through a holistic framework and a highly consultative and proven development process.
Lead the stakeholder engagement and communications, and assurance activities of the Queensland Government's Queensland Critical Communications Modernisation initiative.
Provide expert advice across government in areas including project, change, and stakeholder management.
Work with industry experts to ensure strategic alignment to wider government priorities, reduced risk, greater transparency, and increased overall benefit to Queensland.
