Senior Advisor, Engagement (Early Childhood) - WFH (Australia Wide) Position Overview:
Full-time role with a salary range of $127,006 to $149,094 p.a (commensurate with skills and experience) plus superannuation. This is a term contract until 30 June 2026. The position allows for work from home with some travel to in-person stakeholder meetings.

The Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) is Australia's national education evidence body, working towards excellent and equitable outcomes for all children and young people by generating high-quality evidence accessible to enhance its use in Australian education.
Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Advisor, Engagement (Early Childhood) builds and maintains relationships across the early childhood sector to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with AERO's goals.
Accountabilities:
Conduct regular stakeholder mapping to identify influence, interest, and impact. Lead the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies. Oversee the development of content for workshops, presentations, or other communications. Work closely with the broader ECEC team and other departments for strategic stakeholder engagement. Lead the organisation and management of stakeholder meetings, events, or workshops. Monitor engagement with ECEC stakeholders to identify risks and gather feedback. Partner with teams across AERO to ensure effective collaboration. Prepare reports, briefs, papers, and correspondence as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in early childhood (degree or higher) and experience in leadership roles. Strong understanding of the early childhood landscape and policy frameworks. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective partnerships. Experience in collaborating with a team to deliver complex, high-quality products under tight timelines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Application Process:
