We are seeking a Senior Advisor Employee Communication to partner with the business to conceptualise, initiate, implement, promote and evaluate strategic communication programs and campaigns for our Strategy & Engagement Department.
This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position ending October 2026. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Employee Communication responsibilities of this position include (not limited to):
Develop and implement a strategic and integrated communication program to engage the target audience underpinned by best practice engagement approaches
Create and execute innovative strategic communication projects and initiatives that meet customer and business needs using new technologies
Provide strategic communication advice to other business units across AV to ensure maximum impact of messaging that supports AV's strategic plan
Influence and build communication capability, facilitate peer involvement in Strategy & Engagement initiatives and services to build the collective capability of the Division through the delivery of authentic, impactful content across multiple channels
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess (not limited to):
Completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification (or progress toward) with high level relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience (preferably in communication, public relations, marketing or journalism related field)
Proven senior experience in developing, implementing and evaluating strategic communication strategies, programs and policies across a range of multi-disciplinary functions
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practice strategic employee communication with experience managing large-scale strategic communication projects
Sound communication, analytical and business writing skills, with contemporary web based and social media technology experience
