On behalf of our Defence client who specialises in supplying advanced technologies to the Defence Industry which support a diverse range of platforms for land, sea and air domains, we are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor Digital Communications for a full time, permanent position based in Canberra, ACT.
The key focus of this role will be to establish, manage and maintain the external website, required social media accounts and industry advertising, collaborating across departments as required. You will also create, design, write and edit digital content, including posts, news articles, graphics, audio and video for both internal and external use. You will work with Corporate Communication colleagues to develop the Style Guide, ensuring consistency across all external and internal channels, and the development of an internal communications portal.
Candidates must be an Australian Citizen and must have a Baseline Security Clearance.
As Senior Advisor Digital Communications you will
Create, develop and implement a digital media strategy
Review, refresh and maintain the external website, using data analytics to improve engagement
Establish an online presence through various social media channels – which support the Company's strategic communication objectives.
Curate written and visual content for communications collateral on Company digital channels, including social media posts, web content, intranet content, videos, articles, press releases, and blogs
Create graphics or oversee external designers in the development of company content
Oversight and implementation of the company brand on digital channels
Grow and maintain company image library
Support with media events and other duties as required
About You
Baseline Security Clearance;
Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in digital media or similar is highly desirable
Strong written and visual communication skills
Highly skilled in digital content development including audio, video and photography for publication through various digital channels
Proficient in using industry-standard media planning and graphic design tools and software
Creative eye and graphic design, photography and videography skills
Skilled with data analytics
Extensive knowledge and experience managing multiple digital platforms
Analytical mind with key eye for detail and ability to understand and work on complex issues
