Join our Business Improvement team to lead innovation and support the Customer Services Branch business units to identify, implement, evaluate and celebrate continuous improvement initiatives.
We're looking for a proactive, lateral thinker with demonstrated project management skills to dive into our Senior Advisor (Business Improvement) role. You will use your exceptional engagement skills to build and maintain effective relationships across our department to drive the delivery of collaborative, customer-focused outcomes for Customer Services Branch.
What you will do: Lead and participate in the development and implementation of innovative projects (including ICT-enabled) and business improvement initiatives.Develop project-related documentation in consultation with the Business Improvement Team and our customers, including business cases, business requirements specifications, project plans, registers, reports, and recommendations.Undertake complex research, analysis, and evaluation to deliver projects and business improvements aligned to Customer Service Branch strategies, including the application of appropriate methodologies and practices such as PRINCE2 and Agile.Establish and maintain ongoing communication and relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.Lead and contribute to the development and implementation of effective change management strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and effective transition from current to future state.Who we are looking for: Demonstrated experience in project management, quality management, governance, business improvement, organizational change, and facilitation.Experience in leading and actively participating in the development and execution of innovative projects, particularly those involving information and communication technology (ICT) and business improvement initiatives.Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile Project Management Methodology, including a strong understanding of best practices in project planning, risk management, change management and resource allocation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and foster ongoing relationships with various stakeholder groups, including project governance boards, business units, policy branches and subject matter experts. Experience and preference for collaboration and partnering throughout project delivery.Experience in analysing available information in a critical manner and describing the rationale behind decisions.
