About the role: The Senior Adviser is an important dual-focused role providing trusted executive and advisory support to the Executive Director, Taskforce and Insights as well as flexibly taking on project support and delivery roles as needed based on branch and divisional requirements.
How you'll make a difference: Are you:
A methodical and detailed-oriented person who can nonetheless work in a fast-paced environment?Experienced at working with public sector executives, able to confidentially support sensitive priorities?Flexible and willing to tackle tasks head on, including new priorities as they emerge?The role is responsible for coordinating the overall strategic outputs of the branch, undertakes executive level project work, and is pivotal in prioritising and progressing urgent matters on behalf of the Executive Director.
The Senior Adviser takes on complex project work, including provision of quality assurance, and assists with high priority issues management. They are responsible for the provision of authoritative advice across a range of policy and operational areas in support of the Executive Director, branch and broader division.
This is a varied role which works on all aspects of support to a busy branch and division with a particular focus on working to ensure that systems and processes are well designed and continuously improved. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
