As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will: Provide high level executive support to the Chief Financial Officer including management of the diary, meeting preparation and file management, and drafting of correspondence on behalf of the Chief Financial Officer.Manage the Office of the Chief Financial Officer to ensure effective administrative processes, procedures and systems which support the Finance and Procurement division's operational requirements.Act as the primary point of contact and continued liaison with university stakeholders, including senior management and manage communications within the University assigning appropriate priority to ensure timely decisions.Monitor and track reporting deadlines, coordinate submissions to ensure the comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness of both written and presented information.Handle enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, referring queries to other members of the team as appropriate and dealing with any unforeseen problems and circumstances in a calm, efficient and diplomatic manner.Provide professional customer service to staff including acting as campus coordinator for all administrative matters including staff support for the Burwood/Greenwood Park offices.Manage and coordinate meetings and events as requested by the Chief Financial Officer and the Finance and Procurement leadership team to support the engagement of senior management and staff, including briefings, meetings, road shows, professional development as required.To be successful, you'll have: A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; orExtensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures. Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written issues and dealing with staff at all levels.Experience of handling sensitive situations, recognising confidential issues and dealing with them appropriately and with discretion.Initiative and sound judgement in addressing administrative issues with minimal supervision.Here's how to apply: Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
