Committed to leading social change, strengthening families, and supporting individuals and communities, we deliver a wide range of social services across South East Queensland.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administration Officer to join the Business Services Invoice and Billing Team, based in Stones Corner.
This role is integral to the efficient administration of day-to-day business operations within the Team.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of client daily attendance approvals, output claiming, and invoice coding.
You will also be responsible for liaising with clients regarding invoice queries and preparing documentation for fee relief applications.Position Summary:This role is a key member of the Payroll and People Team within Business Services, supporting daily time and attendance verification for Centacare Community Services.
You will work closely with the Head Office Payroll Team and Operational Teams to ensure accurate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and confirm shift worked times for our Support Worker Team.
Your focus will be on delivering efficient, timely, and accurate payroll support, aligned with organisational policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, verify, and validate daily staff time and attendance data.Identify and resolve discrepancies such as non-clock-in/out incidents.Confirm shift worked times for the Support Worker Team and escalate unresolved discrepancies.Process invoices related to time and attendance, including verifying attendance, allocating costs, and obtaining approval for payment.Work closely with the Head Office Payroll Team to ensure accurate payroll data.Respond to staff and manager enquiries regarding time and attendance processes.Troubleshoot system issues, providing support and guidance as needed.Collaborate with operational teams to improve workflows and streamline processes.Contribute to reviewing and enhancing time and attendance procedures.Support the implementation of process enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy.Key Requirements:Prior experience in payroll administration, with a focus on time and attendance.Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and work within deadlines.Experience in interpreting payroll policies, enterprise agreements, or relevant awards.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including payroll and operations.If you are a motivated and experienced payroll professional looking to make a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Centacare Community Services.

The role is paid at a level 3.1 to level 3.5 ($38.59) under our EBA.
