About the roleThe Senior Administration Officer will administer a variety of executive administrative duties to ensure the efficient management and operation of the Faculty of Education, Philosophy & Theology.
The position will report to the Faculty Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administration services at an executive level to support the strategic and operational direction of the Faculty.Co-ordinate internal and external procedures and processes for effective record management, including maintenance of registers within the Faculty.Support the Faculty Manager and Curriculum Manager during the academic governance process.Manage tasks with detailed information and accuracy, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, overseeing correspondence, collating data for reporting, and preparing a range of written communications including minutes.Apply policies, practices, and standards under general direction to organise and prioritise work, while using judgment to solve problems arising in own work area.Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external University stakeholders.Qualifications, skills & experienceA Degree qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Proven administrative experience in an active office environment (higher education experience highly regarded).Experienced in the application and interpretation of administrative policies and procedures.Demonstrated success in the delivery of quality customer service with internal and external stakeholders.Intermediate/advanced skills across the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel, MS Word, SharePoint) and student administration systems, with the ability to learn and implement new systems.Ability to manage competing priorities, achieve successful outcomes, and demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.Proven capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Supportive of the Objects of Notre Dame as a Catholic University.BenefitsGenerous training and development opportunities.Friendly and collaborative working environment.Discounted study at the University.How to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
