Services include design, retrofit, fit-out, modelling, compliance and approval submissions, certification, and advisory services. The Role: We are seeking a Mid - Senior level Acoustic Consultant to join this dynamic national team and establish the Perth office. You will lead and manage building acoustics engineering projects from inception to completion for an existing client base, while also exploring opportunities for growth through BD and tendering, as well as recruitment and leadership for the WA branch. The Duties:
Develop and implement tailored acoustic solutions for clients. Project management. Be hands-on with technical assignments - conducting assessments, site inspections, testing, and providing technical advice. Ensure compliance with Building Codes Australia. Negotiate fee proposals and tender bids. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction. Explore ways to grow the business through networks, tendering, and client development. Grow the team and bring on new talent in engineering support and acoustic engineers.
The Ideal Profile:
5+ years' experience in building acoustic engineering. Project management experience. Engineering degree preferred - Acoustic, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Sound Engineering, or a related field / or relevant Trade background. Excellent communication and client engagement skills. Proficiency in SoundPlan, EASE, BIM, MS Project, CAD, GIS, etc.
