Senior Accounts Payable Officer

Job brief An established food wholesaler serving the hospitality industry is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities Process payments for stock and non-stock suppliers accurately and on time.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with invoices, credits, and statements.
Reconcile credit card transactions and set up new supplier accounts.
Manage communications with suppliers, resolving payment issues and maintaining relationships.
Provide backup support to accounts receivable during high-volume periods.
Handle general accounts administration and maintain accurate records.
Requirements At least 3-5 years of proven experience in accounts payable, preferably handling high transaction volumes.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in financial processes.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
A proactive mindset and openness to new ideas, processes, and challenges.
