Senior Accounts Payable Officer

This organisation is poised for expansive growth through strategic acquisitions, with the goal of tripling operations and revenue in the next 3-5 years. You will be an experienced Senior AP Officer who will play a pivotal role in the finance team in what will be an exciting phase of this business life cycle.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ownership of the Accounts Payable function.

Manage supplier payments.
Oversee AP and invoice mailboxes, resolving pending or disputed invoices.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
Maintain data integrity and verify expenditure approvals as per policies.
Prepare weekly cash forecasts, review supplier statements, and assist with month-end reporting.
Review current AP processes and recommend and implement changes to increase efficiency.
The Person
Ideally 5 years of experience in a proven high-volume AP role.
Prior exposure to Sage is highly advantageous.
Strong transactional knowledge of full AP processes and accounting concepts.
Exhibit resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively and professionally.
Possess the capability to foster strong working relationships with key personnel and stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
