Senior Accounts Payable Officer

The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.What you'll do:As a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business by ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling supplier and subcontractor invoices, distributing accounts payable emails and mail, reviewing and processing employee expense claims, as well as reconciling corporate credit cards. You will also be tasked with maintaining vendor files, providing payment information to vendors, and offering support to internal staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.Processing supplier and subcontractor invoicesDistribution of accounts payable emails and mailReviewing and processing employee expense claimsReviewing, processing and reconciling corporate credit cardsExecuting payment runs including EFT, B-Pay, FX.Maintenance of vendor filesProviding payment and status information to vendorsProviding support to internal staffWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for the Senior Accounts Payable Officer position brings a wealth of experience in managing financial tasks. You are detail-oriented with a proven track record for accuracy. Your strong organisational skills enable you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality. You have the ability to interact effectively with various levels of management, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Your ability to work under pressure allows you to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of work.
