Senior Accounts Payable Officer

MPK is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting through to the Payroll and Accounts Payable Manager, this role is required to ensure the processing of invoices in an efficient and timely manner, as well as provide customer service to both internal staff and creditors. Key responsibilities include:Processing supplier and subcontractor invoicesDistribution of accounts payable emails and mailReviewing and processing employee expense claimsReviewing, processing and reconciling corporate credit cardsPayment runs including EFT, B-Pay, FX.Maintenance of vendor filesProviding payment and status information to vendorsProviding support to internal staffProvide Senior level support to Junior AP staffMaintain Expensify PortalAd hoc tasks as required by Payroll and Accounts Payable ManagerThe successful candidate will have:2-3 years related experienceBe detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracyStrong organisational skills and multi-tasking capabilitiesThe ability to interact with various levels of managementThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesThe ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentExcellent attention to detailHighly developed interpersonal skillsHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsIntegrity and trustStrong problem-solving skillsNo Agency submissions will be considered.We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply for our positions.
