We're currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager for a B2B client.
The person will oversee all the AP activities and be the leader of an onshore and offshore team.
This role is ideal for an individual with a strong financial understanding, reconciliation abilities, problem-solving skills, and leadership experience.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all Accounts Payable activitiesDrive enhancements in processes for efficiency, reporting, compliance, and robust transaction oversightBecome the trusted expert in accounts payable for the whole organisation and point of contact to the executive teamLead and manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, task delegation, team integration, and setting of KPIs.Implement and monitor adherence to company policies and procedures within the team.Develop offshore operations and implement strategies to optimise performance.Lead initiatives for change management.Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments.Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Proactively ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Lead the efficient processing of invoices, credit card programmes, key documentation, expense reports, and payment runs.Influence key stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time and consistently.What you bring:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or relevant certification is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing an accounts payable team or a similar financial role.Proven experience managing offshore operations and international teams.Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives.Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices related to accounts payable.Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, Xero is a plus.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
