Job Description
Assisting to oversee accounts payable and managing financial obligations.
Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing relevant financial reports.
Ensuring timely payments of invoices and maintaining the vendor database.
Implementing and adhering to internal financial policies and procedures.
Managing budgeting processes and cash flow management.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial documents.
Providing guidance and support to a junior accounts payable team member.
Performing periodic audits and preparing findings reports.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accounts Payable should have:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly within retail is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
