You will be responsible for: Performing reconciliations of General Ledger accountsProcessing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periodsPreparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reports for Financial ControllerPreparing GST returnLiaising with Suppliers and CustomersPerform ad-hoc tasks as requiredManaging the accounts email for multiple businesses in a timely and organized mannerWork as an effective team member to complete tasks within timeframes as requiredA methodical approach and attention to detailExcellent problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of job/department costingExperience with XeroReconcile the supplier aged payable to supplier statements ensuring all outstanding items are actioned promptly and all matters pertaining to creditors are responded toAP for multiple companiesIntercompany transactionsThree-way matching and non-PO invoicesThe successful candidate will have: To be considered for this role, you should possess:
Relevant experience as a Senior Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper (experience preferred);Construction industry beneficial;Ability to use accounting software, experience with Xero is preferred;Knowledge of accounts receivables and accounts payable;Good understanding of data entry, data matching, and allocation in the accounting software;Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;Organisational skills with attention to detail;Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office;Managing multiple companies including intercompany transactions.This is a full-time permanent position looking for an immediate start.
