The Role This role entails an in-office presence , and the ideal candidate will find fulfilment in this collaborative and caring culture that is seen throughout the business. They value the input of this role and having your voice heard is a vital aspect of the role.
You will be responsible for: Performing reconciliations of General Ledger accounts Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods Preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reports for Financial Controller Preparing GST return Liaising with Suppliers and Customers Perform ad-hoc tasks as required Managing the accounts email for multiple businesses in a timely and organized manner Work as an effective team member to complete tasks within timeframes as required A methodical approach and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Understanding of job/department costing Experience with Xero Reconcile the supplier aged payable to supplier statements ensuring all outstanding items are actioned promptly and all matters pertaining to creditors are responded to AP for multiple companies Intercompany transactions Three-way matching and non-PO invoices The successful candidate will have: To be considered for this role, you should possess:
Relevant experience as a Senior Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper (experience preferred); Construction industry beneficial; Ability to use accounting software, experience with Xero is preferred; Knowledge of accounts receivables and accounts payable; Good understanding of data entry, data matching, and allocation in the accounting software; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Organisational skills with attention to detail; Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; Managing multiple companies including intercompany transactions. This is a full-time permanent position looking for an immediate start.
