Senior Accounts Administrator

Our client, a prominent property developer, is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their Finance Team based in West Perth.

This key position will play a crucial role in managing invoices and handling a range of accounts-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and record accounts payable and other financial transactions within designated timeframes.
Maintain and update creditor information in the finance system for both new and existing accounts.
Review, process, and distribute supplier invoices for approval.
Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payment runs via EFT and cheque payments.
Process civil payment claims, ensuring data accuracy in the retention spreadsheet.
Perform bank reconciliations for project-related accounts, including entries for commercial bills, fees, and settlement funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Set up new lease payment arrangements as required.
Respond to supplier and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
Record adjustments from settlement statements into the land sales reconciliation report, ensuring accuracy and making necessary payments.
Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the Accounts Payable function.
Visit banks to deposit received funds and attend to post office tasks as needed.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for project-related documentation.
Conduct annual archiving of project documentation and creditor files.
The Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position, with a solid understanding of basic accounting practices, including general ledger and bank reconciliations.

You should have a proactive approach to continuous improvement, be a collaborative team player, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Experience with ERP systems and Timberline is a distinct advantage.
