KPT Restructuring is seeking motivated individuals to join our experienced, independent restructuring and advisory firm in Sydney CBD. We have full-time opportunities available for Senior Accountants and Supervisors.
Within our organisation, you will be exposed to a full range of engagements including Independent Business Reviews, Restructuring, Turnaround and Formal Insolvencies.
We are looking for Senior Accountants and Supervisors to join our Sydney-based team, who will complete a wide variety of tasks including:
Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal.
Preparation of creditor reports, statutory reports and lodgements
Dealing with and reporting to various stakeholders including creditors, banks and statutory authorities.
Completing investigations into the financial affairs of distressed companies.

Candidates should meet the following criteria: Ideally, 2+ years recent restructuring and insolvency experience
business / accounting related degree or equivalent
may be CA / CPA qualified or commenced
may also be ARITA qualified or interested undertaking
an assertive communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
solid technical skills
highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and flexibility to the challenges of working in a professional environment
strong team orientation
leadership aspirations or experience
