Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 -7 years of public practice experience in a similar role Extensive knowledge and experience with XERO and Microsoft products (essential) Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients - You will be dealing directly with clients High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail Tasks & Responsibilities Prepare financial reports and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs Manage the preparation of Activity Statements (BAS) Oversee bookkeeping and payroll management using the Xero software platform and associated apps Liaise with the Tax Office, ASIC, and other government agencies Drive client-facing interactions, providing advisory services and building long-term client relationships Show motivation and initiative to develop as a well-rounded accountant who looks beyond compliance to deliver value-added services What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for career progression within a supportive team environment Access to ongoing professional development and training A flexible and modern working environment If you are an experienced accountant ready to take on a client-facing role and contribute to our firm's growth and success, we would love to hear from you.
