Senior Accountant - Tax & Business Services

About the company:

Our client is a mid-sized accounting firm with over 60 professional staff offering a wide variety of services includingbusiness consulting,taxation, financial planningandsuperannuation.

Due to continued growth, they arenow in need of a Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients and help with the supervision of junior staff.

Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients from SMEs to large multi-entity groups
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
Provide strategies to clients in relation to budgeting & cash flow planning, tax structuring, tax planning and business structuring
Meet with clients and manage client queries
Support the Partners and assist with the strategic direction of the firm
Assist with supervising a team of junior and intermediate accountants
About you: 5+ years of experience as a tax and business services accountant
Experience providing business advisory services to clients
CA or CPA qualified (or near qualified) is an advantage but not a requirement
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Salary is flexible depending on experience and qualifications - $80,000 to $100,000 + Super.
