Senior Business Services Supervisor / Manager (Accounting) Location: Canberra, ACT About the Company:

About the Role:
Due to sustained growth, my client is seeking a Senior Business Services Supervisor or Manager to take on a key role that splits evenly between compliance and advisory services. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar-sized accounting practice, ideally looking to step up into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients with turnovers typically between $5M - $15M, with the largest up to $50M.Deliver a range of accounting services, including financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work.Provide strategic business advisory services such as tax planning, business analysis, and financial forecasting.Autonomously manage jobs from start to finish, maintaining direct client contact and reporting to a Partner.Oversee and mentor a small team of up to 5 junior accountants, ensuring quality and compliance in all deliverables.Skills & Experience: CA/CPA qualification.A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a public practice environment.Experience working with clients across various industries, with turnovers up to $50M.Proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Ability to work autonomously and lead a small team.Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.Benefits: Competitive salary range plus Superannuation Guarantee Contributions (SGC), based on experience and skills.Strong opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Flexible working arrangements available.Convenient location with free parking.There is genuine opportunity for career progression we are happy to talk through for the right candidate.
