As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in supporting the Finance Manager in developing and implementing reporting for large assets. You will manage budgets and forecasts for various projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are handled efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Reshape accounting policies and procedures for existing assetsLead project capex budgets and reporting frameworkSupport the Finance Manager with integrating and testing financial systemsForecast and monitor cash flow, identifying and mitigating any cash flow risksWork with auditors to improve compliance and accounting proceduresBuild relationships with Program and Project Managers, providing key financial support to help achieve project outcomesDevelop asset valuation framework and modelsConduct financial analysis and adhoc reporting for projectsRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CA qualificationProven experience in a project accounting or similar roleAbility to forecast and monitor cash flow effectivelyExperience working with auditors to improve compliance and accounting proceduresExcellent relationship-building skillsAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
