We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Private Business & Family Advisory team. In this role, you'll work closely with a diverse range of clients and be part of a dynamic, collaborative team. You'll receive mentorship opportunities and will deliver a variety of taxation, financial, and business advisory services. This position is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in business services, eager to advance their career while working with a sophisticated client base.Key components of your new role:Prepare and be integral to complex accounting and taxation engagementsBe a regular point of contact for your clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client serviceCollaborating as part of a team and working with Managers and Partners towards client successWho we're after:As the ideal candidate, you will have a degree and CA/CPA qualification. With relevant expertise as an Accountant in a business advisory environment, you will have:Ability to understand client needs and exhibit a high level of client serviceExperience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returnsExperience with most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts and tax consolidated groupsAbility to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (i.e. MYOB and Xero), and larger enterprise products (an advantage)Well-refined oral and written communication skillsComprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasetsAdaptable to engage a wide range of growing clientsAbility to work well under pressure and manage competing prioritiesAbility to integrate with the team and collaborate effectivelyWhat we offer:Pitcher Partners is a leading network of independent Australian firms, working together to enable growth and ambition for our clients.
