Your new role
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a full-time Senior Accountant in our Private Business and Family Advisory team, located in Newcastle.
In this role you will: Provide general accounting and tax compliance services to client groups within a broad range of industries.
Prepare management reports for clients.
Assist the client manager or partner with more complex taxation advice.
Be responsible for the mentoring and training of junior team members.
About you
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes: A minimum of 4 years experience in a public practice environment (business services/taxation).
Completed (or near completion) of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
An ability to work independently and as part of a team where required.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
A strong desire to learn and grow your skills to the next level, along with a high level of curiosity.
A strong sense of engagement with our core values (noted below).
