Senior Accountant - Partnership opportunity Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting)
A new opportunity is available for a Senior Accountant to join a reputable and well established Practice located in Canberra. This is a diverse position where you will have the opportunity to lead a small team whilst managing the growth of your client portfolio.
For this position, we are seeking a motivated individual to provide accounting solutions to a large client portfolio who are typically successful business owners and wealthy individuals. You will work closely with your team in a collaborative way to achieve the best outcome for the client. 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
Providing leadership to a team of up to five Business Services Accountants.  Provide high-quality Accounting, Tax Planning and Advisory Services/Business Analysis to clients. Work through the end-to-end process with the client. Management of relationships with key stakeholders.  Management of workflow across your team. Providing insights into business performance with the support of detailed financial analysis. Manage and further establish new and existing client relationships. Key requirements of the position:
3 – 5 years of local practical experience. Strong relationship skills to manage clients with turnover of up to $50M. Completed CA or CPA qualification Strong management, leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent technical knowledge of Tax, Advisory and Compliance. Ability to work according to timeframes and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail.  Tertiary qualified  This is a great opportunity to join a reputable Accountancy Practice providing flexibility and autonomy along with a genuine opportunity for career progression into a Partnership position.
