Quinn Allan are partnering with a leading mining organisation to assist in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Brisbane CBD.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of mining operations.
You'll partner with site teams and leadership to deliver accurate financial insights, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of operational processes within the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare, analyse, and report on operational budgets, forecasts, and financial results.Monitor and review production costs, capital expenditure, and inventory valuations.Provide strategic financial insights to optimise operational performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Ensure compliance with financial policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.Collaborate with operational teams to understand key drivers of performance and implement financial controls.Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.Support audit processes and maintain robust financial records.About You: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent).5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the mining or resources sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-financial stakeholders.How to Apply:
