Your new role
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the delivery of financial and administrative outputs with the support of the Assistant Accountant who will report to you. You will have a rare opportunity to be the 2IC and report directly to the CFO with mentoring and insights into the business operations provided.
Take accountability for the oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank accounts, GL and month end.Cash flow reporting - daily, weekly and monthly and assisting the CFO with cash flow management.Monthly delivery of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements including forecasting and budget reports.Business partner with production and P&C departments.Assist in board reporting and 3 year forecasts.Take accountability for payroll.Maintain and implement software such as PowerBI and Jedox.What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be CPA or CA qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience in a financial accountant or similar role, as well as Excel skills. You will enjoy working in a project environment and be able to be flexible, to shift priorities and directions and thrive in a team environment.
