Job Description Oversee and manage daily accounting operations.Statutory and taxation reporting including annual financial statementsMonthly corporate tax (including FBT) reportingIncome tax, quarterly business activity statements (BAS)Processing annual ATO taxable payments reportsFuel tax reportingDevelop and implement financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company.Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax forms.Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs.Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting or Finance.Professional certification such as CPA or CA.Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.
).Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel)Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.What's on Offer A competitive salary package of $130,000 to $150,000 per annum, plus Superannuation.A vibrant and friendly work environment in leafy Nedlands.A fixed-term contract with potential for permanency.An opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading property company.
