Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting)Join a well-established, boutique accounting firm based in Malvern, delivering a wide range of business services to our clients through Xero specialisation and cloud-based accounting and advisory. We are a small, relaxed, and tight-knit team, looking for someone who will bring new ideas and help develop the business. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with plenty of in-house training and development provided. Preferably in office role to help with collaboration.Seeking 22 +/- hours per week with flexibility to suit the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyse financial statementsPrepare tax returns and BAS' for clientsCoding and updating client files in XeroAccounts payable/accounts receivable reconciliationPayroll/STP compliance, Superannuation, workcover, monthly payroll tax, wages reconciliationAssist with tax planning for client groupsAssist with establishing/maintaining fee proposalsLiaising directly with clientsCollaborating with team members to manage tasksBenefits and perks:Close to public transportFree street parkingParticipate in monthly trainingFriendly and engaged teamWeekly team lunchesOpen door policy - supportive and collaborative team environmentFamily friendly hours availableQualifications:From 7+ years practical accounting experienceKnowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and MYOBKnowledge of CLASS Super and Xero Practice Manager is beneficial, but not essentialIf you are interested in this position please apply through Seek.
