Senior Accountant

Job Description Location: Manly, Sydney
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + Super
Our client within the wholesale industry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in maintaining their financial integrity and supporting our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper valuation, reconciliation, and reporting. Manage and execute payroll processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and drive efficiency. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Key Qualifications: Relevant accounting experience in wholesale trade or similar industry. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office (Macro, Pivot Tables, etc.) and SharePoint. Proficiency in speaking Spanish is preferred but not required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
