About your new opportunity You will be responsible for overseeing the finance operations of the Finance team. This includes overseeing the payroll function,management of cash including AR and AP, ensuring month end is completed on time in full, and completion of balance sheet reconciliations. As a senior member of the finance team, you will also support the formulation and communication of Group Accounting Policies, as well as assisting with the review and resolution of technical accounting matters.
This role assists the SeniorFinance Manager and the CFO in delivering best-practice accounting and reporting across the business, driving innovation across the finance teams, and establishing strong governance and controls.
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team and ensure best practice and accuracy across all areas including:PayrollAccounts PayableAccount ReceivableLead the outsourced finance team in the provision of excellent standards of service to the organisationManage the period-end process and ensure deadlines are achieved to deliver reporting (P&Ls and dashboards) to the Business in a timely mannerOversee calculations and journals of P&L impacts derived from balance sheet accounts reconciliationand other analysisManage our offshore team to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time in line with the company processMonth end accruals are processed to ensure complete accountsEnsure payments are made on time while driving the cash flow objectives of the businessDirect debits are processed on timeAll outstanding invoices are collected in a timely mannerManage royalties, marketing fund, and development incomeSupport the offshore team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in line with company rhythmBe available to assist with any internal queries regarding PayrollDemonstrate a strong interest and motivation to progress into the role of Finance Manager.Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar.CA/CPA Qualified.Prior Experience in a similar roleExcellent analytic and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.An organised and methodical approach with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.The ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment.Exposure toQSR,Retail, and/orFranchisebusinessenvironmentswould be reviewed favorablyNetSuite ExperienceExperience working offshore is also preferred.Why work at Mad Mex?
