About Our Client Our client is a global logistics business based in Melbourne's North.
Job Description The role will include but not be limited to:
Integration of the financial systems of the merged entities and adoption of uniform accounting, internal control, and practices throughout the organisation.Identification and implementation of process improvement practices to gain efficiency and accuracy across the group. - The analysis and provision of financial information to the key stakeholders (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO and Other Business Unit leaders)Budgeting, Forecasting, analysisMonth end reportingGL, Balance sheet Reconciliations and other month end activities Review, improve & implement internal financial control procedures - Assist with financial planningDelivering continuous improvement projects within the financial management areaEffective labor management for appropriate levels of further education and annual leaveAd hoc project accounting tasks The Successful Applicant CA/CPA Or at least partly qualifiedTertiary qualificationsAvailability at short notice Experience with SAP IdealExposure to a large fast-paced organisation Excellent communication skills What's on Offer Competitive remunerationHybrid workingOpportunity to transition into a permanent role
