Our client is a major player in the northwest, and this is very much a 'lifestyle' opportunity working 38 hours per week that provides a generous salary and company-provided housing, meaning you can save and enjoy the coastal northwest lifestyle!
The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee and enhance our accounts payable and receivable functions. In this pivotal role, you'll supervise a talented team, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to strategic financial planning. The team currently consists of 8 members with 2 team leaders responsible for payables and receivables and 3 team members within their respective teams. This position will report to the Finance Manager, ensuring smooth operation of your division, which involves upper management monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. This provides a dynamic opportunity where you can take charge, provide sound leadership, and explore further career development opportunities.
Tertiary degree in commerce or business; CPA or Chartered Accountant membership preferred Ideally experience working with Oracle Experience managing accounts payable/receivable teams for large organisations Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven track record in accounts management and team leadership Commitment to safety, diversity, and continuous improvement Why apply? Full relocation to a coastal location in the Northwest of Australia. Housing provided and a generous salary package of circa $170k - $185k + additional SUPER at 13%.
