Senior Accountant

DSY has partnered with an industry leading Western Australian company to source a Senior Accountant.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Accountant requiring good flexibility in their next role and who can work autonomously covering financial, management reporting and taxation.

Key Responsibilities Monthly analysis, reporting and commentary on business operations performanceAssisting with budgeting and forecastingPreparing monthly financial reports including balance sheet, P&L, management reporting and cashflow statementsHands-on accounting and management of the month-end closePreparation of GST, BAS, Payroll, and Income Tax returnsFinancial statement preparation and preparation of year-end statutory accountsLiaison with external auditors and assist in the annual audit processLiaison with various internal and external senior level stakeholdersInvolvement with process and systems improvement initiativesKey Requirements Accounting or equivalent DegreeCA/CPA qualified or International equivalent3 years+ experience at Accountant levelStrong technical accounting experience and skill setMS Excel to advanced or 'strong intermediate' levelWell-developed and effective communication skillsProcess driven with good attention to detailStrong organisational and time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
