Senior Accountant

Join this privately owned construction company working on a range of construction projects covering residential, civil, and large mining operations. This will suit a senior accountant looking for a nice team culture and a broad list of responsibilities day to day with parking on site.
Responsibilities: Assisting sites with completing vendor applications. Posting journals, GL reconciliations, accruals/prepayments. Preparation of quarterly BAS / Tax compliance. Preparing financial and management reports. Assisting the Finance Manager as required. Preparation of year-end accounts and workpapers. Prepare new employee contracts, letters of offers, changes to existing employees, and run payroll scenario analysis as required. Provide broad support to operations and management with finance and job queries. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Preparation of budgets and cashflow forecast models. Experience: 3+ years working within accounting and finance. CA/CPA qualification is a must-have. Experience within the construction or project space is an advantage. Ability to work independently and with a broad set of stakeholders outside of finance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
