Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage overall accounting and bookkeeping requirements and mentor junior team members.
Tasks and responsibilities A broad range of accounting tasks including but not limited to

InvoicingManagement of accounts payable & receivableResponding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting dataConducting internal audits such as project reviewsExamining financial records to check for accuracyOversee monthly payroll for 120-140 employeesOversee and drive the month-end processesAssist with the year-end closure processes and statutory accountsReconcile accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accounts reconciliations are completed accurately and promptlyPromptly identify and address any issues and discrepancies that ariseMentor and train other accounting staffActively identify and implement process improvements for better efficiencyOther ad-hoc duties i.e. project reports, project costing, budgeting, etcSkills and Experience Bachelor's degree in either Accounting or Commerce.A minimum of five years of experience in an accounting roleAbility to work independently to organize and prioritize demands and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAnalytical mindsetCommercial and business awarenessGood communication skills – both written and verbalA keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into dataDeadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraintsWe can offer a great work environment with work-life balance and the opportunity to expand your skill set and develop with our growing organisation.
