Findex is currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our SMSF team.
Location is flexible for the ideal candidate.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing team and engage directly with stakeholders and clients assigned to your portfolio.

What will your typical week look like? Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for SMSFs from start to finish.Exhibit ownership qualities and efficiently manage your workflow.Collaborate with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients.Create detailed workpaper files, including investment, income, and CGT reconciliations.Problem solving, liaising with the Auditor, Actuary and other stakeholders. Knowledge and experience in SMSF processing.Strong technical skills, including a fundamental understanding of the SIS Act and SIS Regs.Experience using Class Super software (preferred).A willingness and desire to train and mentor junior staff.CA or CPA qualified (preferred).
