Role & Responsibility: Preparing and completing income tax returns for all lodging entities. Preparing a full set of accounts. Preparing budgets for client engagements. Constructing and maintaining logical and accurate working papers. Preparing cash flow statements. Preparing and completing tax reconciliations. Calculating deferred tax accounting. Working on various consulting assignments and projects as required. Proposing solutions to client managers for taxation or accounting technical queries. Ensuring budget and production targets are met. Assisting in consulting matters, including the provision of tax advice and management reporting. Providing real-time management reporting of budgets and key business drivers. Clearly delegating and reviewing the work of junior team members while providing guidance and assistance in the completion of their responsibilities. To be considered you will have most of the following: CA/CPA qualification or near completion. At least 5 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm. Experience working with companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals. Experience preparing tax returns, financial statements, BAS, etc. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
